Located within a breathtaking natural environement, just 4.2km from La Clusaz, this beautifully-restored chalet for 14 is a great choice for those who love mountain sports, at any time of year.
With easy access to the Étale and Aiguille slopes, as well as wonderful hiking and biking trails, there is plenty to suit an active group. The shuttle bus stops just 150m from the door, so if you don't want to take your car out, you don't have to.
And at the end of the day, you can relax on the furnished terrace, in the hot tub or perhaps with a game of pétanque. There are wonderful views and plenty of space for children to play in the garden – and there's even a delightful stream running through the grounds!
La Clusaz has a great choice of shops, bars and restaurants, as well as a supermarket. There is also a smaller supermarket, a boulangerie and a couple of bars and restaurants in Merdassier.
About the property...
Chalet Lodge Rodzina is a luxury, three-storey chalet for 14 with seven bedrooms and five bath or shower rooms.
The impressive living area occupies the whole of the first floor, with a bar area and doors to two heated balconies, where you can sip your apero as you admire the breathtaking views. Inside, two large sofas and chairs are arranged in front of the central fireplace, and there's a large dining table where you can all get together to enjoy your meals. Cooking is a pleasure in the fully-equipped kitchen, which has a very large fridge-freezer, a Miele double oven and two dishwashers, as well as a wall-mounted TV. There's also a breakfast bar where you can enjoy a quick snack before you head out for the day.
There's a ski room on the ground floor which also has a washing machine, dryer and an extra fridge. There's also a TV room where you can curl up on the sofa and watch a film. You'll also find five of the six bedrooms here, including three double rooms which have their own shower rooms and access to the balcony. One of these rooms also has a useful office area, for guests who would like to work remotely. There are two more double bedrooms, which share a shower room, and a separate WC.
The final bedroom is the family suite on the lower ground floor. It has a double room and a separate room with two bunk beds, as well as a bathroom, a desk area and a separate toilet.
Underfloor heating keeps the chalet cosy in the winter, and the bathrooms have heated walls.
Finally, you'll find the hot tub on the terrace, as well as sofas, chairs and a fire-it - it's the perfect place to sit and admire the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
There's plenty of parking for several cars outside the chalet, as well as a double garage with a table tennis table and a charging point for electric vehicles.

La Clusaz is an authentic mountain village which blends tradition with up-to-date facilities. Its traditional chalets and lively streets offer a vibrant setting with Savoyard charm. Nestled in the heart of the Aravis massif, it is only 30 min from Annecy and close to Le Grand-Bornand and Manigod. Its warm atmosphere and easy accessibility make it a popular destination year-round.
In winter, the resort provides easy access to the Aravis ski area, offering 210km of pistes that combine long descents and technical sectors across La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand, Manigod, and Saint-Jean-de-Sixt. The region also offers a variety of winter activities, including cross-country skiing, dog sledding, sledging, snow biking, ice diving and ice skating.
During the rest of the year, numerous hiking and biking trails lead to superb views over the Aravis, such as the Plateau des Glières. The village boasts a modern watersports centre providing activities for all ages and a wellbeing area. The nearby Lake Annecy is another great place for swimming, paddleboarding, and sailing. Other summer activities include via ferrata, climbing and paragliding, leaving you with a wealth of memories to take home.

Chalet Lodge Rodzina is a well-appointed chalet for 14 guests, with six bedrooms and five bathrooms.
Designed to make the most of the incredible views, the spacious living area takes up the whole of the top floor, with two heated balconies. Inside, a central fireplace separates the cosy seating area from the large dining table, and the fully-equipped kitchen has top-of-the-range appliances, including a huge American-style fridge freezer.
There's a breakfast bar as well as a bar area – mix up your cocktails and head out onto the balcony to enjoy them!
Five of the six bedrooms are on the ground floor. They all have large double beds, and three of them also have their own shower rooms and access to the balcony.
The remaining two bedrooms are connected by a shower room. You'll also find a TV room on this floor and a laundry/ski room with a heated boot rack.
The final bedroom is the family suite – a double room and a connected bunk room, sleeping a total of four. This suite also has an en-suite bathroom and a separate WC.
Chalet Lodge Rodzina has a large terrace with a hot tub, a garden with plenty of room for children to play and several parking spaces. There's also a double garage with a table tennis table and an EV charging point.
The popular ski village of La Clusaz is 4.2km from Chalet Lodge Rodzina, but the free shuttle bus, which stops just 150m from the door, will take you right into the heart of the resort. But you don't have to go that far to ski – the nearest slope is just over 1km away.

We are delighted to share our chalet in La Clusaz with guests looking for authenticity and Alpine charm.
It has a history that is very close to our hearts. A former n Alpine farm, it has been completely renovated thanks to the determination and energy of our father, who brought this place back to life.
His dream was to transform this building into a unique chalet, where old wood and natural materials combine to create a warm atmosphere, inviting calm and serenity.
Far from the hustle and bustle yet close to the heart of the village, our chalet is a haven of peace where you can recharge your batteries and enjoy the surrounding countryside. We wanted to make it a family-friendly place where everyone feelsl at home.
The wide open spaces, stunning mountain views and cosy corners make it a great place to come back to after a day on the slopes or exploring the surrounding area.
We hope our guests will feel the same joy and calm that we do when we come here - it's much more than just a holiday destination: it's an invitation to discover an authentic mountain way of life, steeped in charm and history.
